Four hand-dyed washi planner binders held in two hands

Japanese patterns, each with a wish

Everyday things with a wish woven in.

Notebooks, pen cases and planners in traditional Japanese patterns, each carrying a wish. Our first collection is washi paper, hand-dyed one screen at a time in Kyoto.

Our craft

One screen, one color, by hand.

At a small dye works in Kyoto, each color of a pattern is printed with its own screen onto Japanese washi paper. The slight overlaps and soft edges are the mark of the hand. The paper is then made into notebooks and boxes by partner workshops in Japan.
